The microphone is powered by the ZR and supports professional-quality 32-bit float audio recording. Select the microphone mode that matches your creative intent—PURE mode for recording ambient sound “as-is” and FOCUS mode, tailored to human voices.* For added versatility, three directional pickup patterns are available—front, rear or omnidirectional. The ME-D10 features a built-in shock mount and a large front-facing status lamp that illuminates during video recording.
